AWS Organization Migration — Federal GovCloud

Migrated an entire subsidiary company out of a shared AWS Organization into its own standalone Org in federal GovCloud, reducing a projected 12-week effort to three 1-hour execution windows with zero downtime.
Restructured all networking due to deep interconnectivity with the original Control Tower environment, re-establishing VPC peering, routing, and security boundaries.

On-Premises to Cloud — Fargate & Service Catalog

Re-architected a federal application from server-hosted to containerized ECR/Fargate, provisioning the entire AWS GovCloud account via CloudFormation and Service Catalog — all resources required Service Catalog approval before deployment.

Navigated ATO authorization, penetration testing, and multiple security reviews from Dev through Production.

On-Premises to Cloud — Terraform Migrations (×3)

Terraform & Pipeline Overhaul — Federal GovCloud

Inherited a deeply nested module-on-module Terraform architecture for a federal GovCloud environment where one change could silently cascade and break unrelated production resources; restructured the module hierarchy to isolate blast radius and make changes auditable.
Rebuilt CI/CD pipelines to surface Terraform plan output and require explicit engineer approval before apply — eliminating the risk of typo-driven production outages.
Migrated all source control from AWS CodeCommit into GitLab, establishing proper branching strategies, MR workflows, and pipeline governance.
